FOR LEARNERS & INTERNS
How do I apply for a learnership or internship?
Visit our Contact page, complete the Contact Form and select “Apply as a Learner”. We’ll be in touch to discuss the process.
What are the criteria for applying for a learnership or internship?
Applicant to be 18 years or older or have completed their secondary education. Demonstrate a genuine interest in the industry and a basic understanding of its key concepts. Be available for the full duration of the programme. Be willing to learn, take initiative, and work in a team environment. Have good communication skills and a positive attitude. Not be employed. If employed or temporarily employed – company to apply.
Do I need previous experience to apply?
No experience is required. MADS welcomes passionate learners eager to grow.
Are the programs paid?
Some placements offer a Stipends; others may be unpaid. We’ll share full details in each listing.
How long is a typical internship or shadowing experience?
Internships range from 3 to 12 months. Shadowing is shorter-term (1–2 weeks).

How do I subscribe as a business?
Go to our Contact page, complete the contact form and click “Subscribe as a Business” to get started. We will be in touch to activate the subscription.
What are the benefits of subscribing?
Subscribers get access to interns, visibility platforms, development forums, and showcase events.
Can I host or shadow an intern even if I’m a small business?
Absolutely. We encourage businesses of all sizes to get involved.
FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
How can our institution place learners through MADS?

What does the partnership involve?
We collaborate on project-based learning, internship readiness, and bridging academic theory with industry practice. We also support institutions in aligning their curriculum with real-world application and offer guest lectures, mentorship pairings, and event access for students.
Can MADS help prepare learners for the workspace?
Yes. Our internship and workshop programs are designed to enhance soft skills, workplace awareness, and real-world confidence, preparing learners to step into the workforce with greater readiness.
FOR LEADERS & LEGENDS
How can I contribute as a Leader or Legend?
You can mentor interns, lead workshops, or speak at events. Visit our Contact page, complete the contact form and choose “Join as a Legend” or “Nominate a Leader”.
Do I need to be retired to be a Legend?
Not at all. Legends are individuals with rich experience and insight in their field—whether they’re active or retired.
What is the time commitment?
Flexible. You can choose to mentor one-on-one, lead a single session, or stay involved longer term.

What role can an industry body play in MADS?

Can MADS help amplify our industry initiatives?
Absolutely. We offer joint programming opportunities, visibility at events, and aligned strategies to support sector-wide goals.
Is there room to influence MADS program content?
Yes. We welcome collaboration on topics, speakers, and challenges relevant to your sector, helping ensure our work supports industry transformation and relevance.
FOR SUPPORTERS & DONORS
How can I support MADS?
There are many ways to support us—through financial donations, providing laptops or desks, offering services, or making venue space available for training and events. Visit the “Support the Movement” section on our Services or Join Us page to see how you can contribute. Complete our Contact form and we will be in touch.
Can I choose what my donation goes toward?
Yes. You can earmark your contribution to areas such as internships, showcases, business development tools, or operational infrastructure.
Do you provide donation certificates or acknowledgment?
Yes. We offer certificates of appreciation and can publicly acknowledge your support if requested. Where applicable, we can also issue a Section 18A certificate for tax deduction purposes.
